SOUDA BAY, Greece (Jun. 17, 2009) An MV-22 Osprey from Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM ) 263 (Reinforced) is secured to the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) as the sun comes up beyond the Cretian mountains overlooking Souda Bay. The Bataan Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) is deployed supporting maritime security operations in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility.
