description

Summary

An MV-22B tiltrotor Osprey departs the Spanish amphibious assault ship Juan Carlos I (L-61) during a bilateral carrier qualification near Naval Station Rota, Spain, June 18, 2014. This was the first time the American tiltrotor aircraft landed on the Juan Carlos I – one of Spain’s newest warships. Training with their host nation partners allows the Marines to maintain proficiency in their core skills while also developing the integration skills essential for future operations.
