ANA Share Pride With Marines

Rafik Mohammed, a soldier with the Afghan National Army, wears a Marine Corps “boonie” cover while providing security at the district governor’s compound in Garmsir, Oct. 14. Rafik and other ANA soldiers work with the Marines of 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment to provide security in the Garmsir District. According to the Marines who fight alongside him, Rafik is always wearing some type of Marine item. “I love working with Marines and fighting for Afghanistan,” Rafik said.
