Legs.—Femur I as in fig. 9, d; tarsal segments I, 2; II, 3; III, 3; IV, 3; tarsus I with the proximal segment one-half the length of the distal segment. Dimensions.—Length of body 2, pedipalp 2-7 mm. Named in honour of Mr. C. W. Thorne of the Botanical Staff of the South African Museum. Key to species of Ceratomontia. Femur of pedipalp with a longitudinal row of 10-11 teeth above . werneri.
