description

Summary

This document lists the locations of antislavery meetings (mostly Massachusetts towns) for every week from June 1 to September 28, 1851. Alongside each location, initials indicate which speakers were due to appear at each meeting. The speakers include William Lloyd Garrison, Stephen S. Foster, Charles C. Burleigh, Parker Pillsbury, George W. Putnam, Lucy Stone, Samuel May, Jr., Nathaniel H. Whiting, Edmund Quincy, and Wendell Phillips. It was likely written by Samuel May to help schedule meetings as part of his duties as general agent for the Massachusetts Anti-Slavery Society.
