Faint swirls and Linear Patterns show in the equarorial region(which is darker than the poles). The hemisphere shown always faces Jupiter. North is up. Europa is the brightest of the Galilian satellites but shows low contrast on this hemisphere. Density and size is similar to Earth's Moon.
