Army gears up for next NIE

Second Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division soldiers provide full-time vehicle and system integration support in the months leading up to the Army's Network Integration Evaluations (NIEs). The October-November NIE, dubbed 13.1, is the fourth iteration in a series of semi-annual, soldier-lead field exercises designed to further integrate and mature the Army's tactical communications network.
