Description: Imagery taken during the Apollo 4 Mission. View is of coastal Brazil, Atlantic Ocean, West Africa, Sahara looking north west. The camera system was activated by a gravity switch set for G=3. It is possible that it was activated by the initial vibration at lift-off. Therefore times and altitudes are approximate but within one minute of true. Photo was taken during the third revolution. Film type was SO-368 Ektachrome,70mm color,76mm lens. G.E.T time was 4:46, Altitude was 8230 nautical miles (15,241 kilometers). Every tenth photographic is indicated. Intermediate exposures can be interpolated.
