Aviation Warfare Systems Operator 1st Class Marcus Monreal, assigned to the “Island Knights” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25, performs a medical evacuation drill on a MK VI patrol boat with Electronics Technician 1st Class Damon Davis, assigned to Coastal Riverine Group (CRG) 1 Detachment Guam, off the coast of Guam July 10, 2017. CRG-1 and HSC-25 are currently testing their interoperability capabilities to enhance their collective maritime mission. Coastal Riverine Force (CRF) is capable of conducting maritime security operations across the full spectrum of naval, joint and combined operations. Further, it provides the additional capabilities of port security, embarked security, theater security cooperation, and high value unit protection.
