Summary: Judge Truscott's daughter Helen spurns society life for social work in the settlement districts. She is saved from a runaway horse by heavyweight contender Dan Williams, and they become friends. Dan's nephew Johnny is abducted just before the championship fight and threatened with harm unless Dan stands for a knockout in the fifth round. Before the fight is over, Helen appears with Johnny, who has escaped: Dan knocks his opponent out and wins the championship and Helen's hand.
