Summary
Satire on the Napoleonic wars. (British political cartoon); Canning, Liverpool, and Castlereagh, the political disciples of Pitt, tow the Danish fleet toward John Bull, who celebrates on shore beneath the a tavern sign bearing the portrait of George III. Opposition Whigs, St. Vincent, Grey, and Grenville, are shown as a three-headed whale attempting to upset the boat. Above the horizon, Napoleon leaps to escape the burning cities of the continent.
