A feature of the sign-boards along theroad beyond New O.xford is that everyroad to the right seems to lead to Hunters-town, and the distance always seems to betwo miles. Indeed, we counted fully halfa dozen signs which bore the legend—Hunterstown—2 miles, and just as we We did a little highway robbery stuntwhile enjoying the view from the top ofthe hill. A bakers wagon coming fromGettysburg, where its hard-working driverhad possibly been delivering his waressince long before dawn, was slowly ap-proaching the summit, and as it passed uswe saw that the driver was asleep.
