The best food for puppies is a well boiledmixture of meat and meal. Viz : Sheeps headsboiled to a rag, the bones all carefully remov-ed, and the meat chopped fine and replaced inthe boiler, then add about the same bulk ofIndian meal ; boil them well together abontten minutes, stirring all the time. Turn it outand you have a fine pudding to be fed at discre-tion. A little salt should always be addedwhen boiling. The proportion of meal may bea little increa-^ed, when the meat is more nutri-tive.
