State, Federal and local partners met to discuss progress and future action at the annual New York Area of Concern (AOC) meeting, November 14-15, 2018. Partners toured several restoration sites in the Niagara Area of Concern, including Unity Island. The project is an example of how beneficial use of dredged material can be used as a resource to create environmental benefits.
