Photo shows Dr. Friedrich Franz Friedmann (1876-1953) a tuberculosis researcher from Berlin, Germany, who came to New York City in 1913 to show that his "turtle vaccine" would give immunity to the disease. Depicted with him are his brother, C.H. Friedmann; his secretary, Charles de Vidal Hundt; and Charles E.
