CAMP BUEHRING, Kuwait (April 11, 2019) U.S. Marines with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Female Engagement Team prepare to engage targets during a dry combat marksmansip range as a part of FET. FET Marines worked to build and sharpen their skills in prepartion for combat marksmanship training alongside partner nations. Marines and Sailors with the 22nd MEU and Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group are deployed to the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
