Photograph shows crew of Sir Thomas Lipton's yacht, Shamrock IV, which was crossing the Atlantic when World War I started. The yacht was taken to Shewan Shipyard, Brooklyn for repairs and storage until the end of the war. (Source: Flickr Commons project, 2011 and New York Times, Aug. 18, 1914)
