Douglas Waite, command chaplain for commander, Navy Region Hawaii and Naval Surface Group Middle Pacific, hands a folded American flag to the wife of Pearl Harbor survivor retired Capt. Demetrius Vellis was stationed aboard the destroyer USS Dale (DD 353) during the Dec. 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor.
