Capt. Matthew McCarthy, commander, Company D, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade and a resident of Deerfield, Ill., speaks with a Polish English-language class, following a ceremony honoring the victims of 9/11 at Kalisz Pomorskie Secondary School Sept. 11.
