Capt. Michael Vietti, 451st Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron Detachment 1 Contingency Aeromedical Staging Facility physician's assistant, checks the heart rate of a Marine Corps military working dog at the Camp Leatherneck veterinary clinic, Afghanistan, during a routine physical exam. Vietti routinely volunteers at the 358th Medical Detachment Veterinary Services Clinic. The veterinary clinic is responsible for providing medical care for all the MWDs on the camp.
