MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Oct. 15, 2012) Capt. Robert Boyer, commander of Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 1, Cmdr. Trevor Estes, incoming commanding officer of the Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 137, and Cmdr. Michael MacNicholl, outgoing commanding officer of VAQ-137, fly in formation during an aerial change of command ceremony. CVW 1 and VAQ-137 are deployed aboard the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65) in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility to conduct maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
