William Hart, commanding officer of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), speaks during the annual USS Forrestal (CV 59) memorial ceremony at the Farrier Firefighting School at Naval Station Norfolk. The first aircraft carrier commissioned into the United States Navy was USS Langley (CV-1) on 20 March 1922.
