Français : Carte espagnole dressée en 1789 et qui mentionne l'épave du navire français La Belle, construit à Rochefort en 1684 et naufragé en 1686 dans la baie de Matagorda (aujourd'hui au Texas). Expédition de Cavelier de La Salle pour trouver l'embouchure du Mississippi et y fonder un établissement français (1684-1687). Sur la carte, les mots Navío Quebrado correspondent à l'épave du navire.
