Summary
Cascade asters (Eucephallus ledophyllus) have several blue-purple flowers clustered on each stalk. Though similar in appearance, alpine asters (Oresostemma apligenum) have a single flower. Cascade asters are also more common at Paradise, while alpine asters are more common at Sunrise.
