hby, of Birdsall, Esq., eldest son of the Honble- Thomas Willoughby, and Elizabeth, his wife,,daughter and heiress of Thomas Sotheby, of Birdsall co,York, Esqr., born at York, baptized in York Minster, 16April, 1722, died unmarried at Nottingham, and was buriedat Wollaton, 12 August, 1748. He was elder brother ofHenry Willoughby, who afterwards succeeded as 5th LordMiddleton in 1781, and of the Revd- the Honb,e- James-Willoughby. Dressed in a blue coat with gold lace. On,canvass 14 x 10 in. Copy in oils of the pastel portrait at Birdsall. 21. Thomas Worsley, of Hovingham, Esq., born 16 November,. 1686, married (1) 1710, Mary, eldest daughter of Sir ThomasFrankland, 2nd Bart., of Thirkleby, who died 1722, and(2) Anne, daughter of Sir William Robinson, of Newby,.Bart., and sister to Thomas, Lord Grantham. Robert Bankes, Lord Hawkesbury, afterwards 2nd Earl of Liverpool, born 7 June, 1770, married (1) 25 March, 1795,Lady Louisa Theodosia Hervey, 3rd daughter of FrederickAugustus, 4th Earl of Bristol and Bishop of Derry, and shedying, 12 June, 1821, he married (2) 24 Sept., 1822, Mary,daughter of Charles Chester (formerly Bagot) of Chicheley,co. Bucks, who survived him and died 18 October, 1846.He was Prime Minister for 15 years, 1812-1827, and diedwithout issue, 4 Dec, 1828. Three-quarter length standing.Full face.
