Summary
Significance: The Dearborn Station Trainshed of the Chicago & Western Indiana Railroad was an unusual and unique example of trainshed design, combining timber and wrought iron in the massive trusses that supported the roof. It was possibly the oldest structure of its kind in the United States at the time of its destruction.
