Chief Hospital Corpsman Tarren Windham (FMF/SW/AW), left, and Yeoman 2nd Class Jordan Guevara fold a flag flown in honor of Guevara’s late grandfather, Woodrow “Woody” Duffin, on Pearl Harbor Day aboard Resolute Support Headquarters, Kabul, Afghanistan. Duffin, a chief quartermaster, enlisted in the Navy in 1939 and was a survivor of the Pearl Harbor attack, serving on the USS California (BB-44). He received 17 battle stars, two purple hearts and a bronze star.
