Thomas during a burial at sea for three military working dogs on board USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19). The remains of Max, Art, and Connor were accompanied by their handlers, Chief Master-at-Arms Maria E. Soto, Master-at-Arms 1st Class Michael B. Thomas and Master-at-Arms 3rd Class Mark Anthony Garcia, respectively. The ceremony took place aboard Blue Ridge, currently underway in support of bilateral exercise Terminal Fury.
