Chief Petty Officer Matthew Harrison scans for metal while conducting recovery operations in the Gai Lai province of Vietnam. Harrison is an explosives ordnance disposal technician assigned to the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command. The command conducts global search, recovery and laboratory operations to identify unaccounted-for Americans from past conflicts in order to support the Department of Defense's personnel accounting efforts.
