Chief Petty Officer Ronald W. Humphrey, a submariner at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division in Norco, provides input on a team’s performance during the contest portion of SeaPerch Academy Summer Camp. SeaPerch Academy is a two-week robotics contest organized by The Science Experience and supported in part by the local warfare center and the Office of Naval Research. The Science Experience is a fledgling center for science education based in Banning, Calif., that is working to familiarize local children with science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
