Christian Hess House, 811 Main Street, Wheeling, Ohio County, WV
Summary
Significance: This two story building is an outstanding example of the French Renaissance, or Second Empire, style of architecture. Built in 1876 for Christian Hess, a local tailor, this house is in excellent condition and remains much as it was when the Hess family lived here.
