City of Charleston, Summerville, and North Charleston police forces clear a building together during Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) training hosted by the Charleston Police Department SWAT team at Charleston, S.C., April 3, 2015. The Charleston Police Department Special Weapons and Tactics Team (S.W.A.T.) is a specially trained unit established to systematically intercede in emergency and non-emergency situations determined to be beyond the normal scope and capabilities of patrol officers.
