GRAND ISLE, La. - Workers contracted by BP remove oil-saturated absorbent boom from the beach June 5, 2010. Absorbent and containment boom has been placed throughout Grand Isle's waterways in an effort to stop oil from coming ashore and moving farther into fragile marshes.
