CLEVELAND - Freezing spray caused by high winds and subzero air temperatures completely coats the Cleveland Harbor West Pierhead Lighthouse in ice as the harbor begins to freeze over for the winter Dec. 14, 2010. Coast Guard units throughout the Great Lakes issued warnings to mariners that the ice may reduce or completely obscure aids to navigation across the lakes. All large image sets on Picryl.com are made in two steps: First, we picked a set to train AI vision to recognize the feature, and after that, we ran all 25M+ images in our database through an image recognition machine. As usual, all media in the collection belong to the public domain. There is no limitation on the dataset usage - educational, scientific, or commercial.
The collection/dataset uses media from the world's largest public domain source Picryl.com. It is made in two steps - first manually picked, and then, found semi-automatically, with aid of image recognition, it comprises of more than 5,000 images. Everything in the collection is in the public domain, so there is no limitation on the dataset usage - educational, scientific, or commercial.
