Close up of a lady's grave, one of 50 new Anglo-Saxon graves discovered at Royal Air Force (RAF), Lakenheath, UK. A team of archaeologists from the Suffolk County Council Archaeology Department is excavating the site of the old hospital annex on base. The excavation site forms part of an early Anglo-Saxon cemetery complex first identified in 1956 and continues on from work carried out on different parts of the site.
