Command Sgt. Maj. Roque Quichocho (left), an Indiana native and senior enlisted advisor for the 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion “First Attack,” 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, greets Pfc. Stevie Sturdivant, with Company E, 1-227th, as he departs an aircraft at Robert Gray Army Airfield, West Fort Hood, Texas, Oct. 8. About 50 Air Cav Soldiers were returning from a yearlong deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and their arrival marked the return of the final deployed Air Cav Soldiers.
