Hampton, Va. (May. 14, 2005) Commander of the U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, Thunderbirds, Lt. Col. Mike Chandler, holds a mass oath of enlistment for future U.S. Air Force Airmen and U.S. Coast Guard members at the 2005 Air Power over Hampton Roads air show held on board Langley Air Force Base, Va. The Thunderbirds fly six F-16C Fighting Falcon aircraft in approximately forty maneuvers performing both formation and solo routines during their demonstration. This year's air show showcased civilian and military aircraft from the Nation's armed forces, which provided many flight demonstrations and static displays.
