Lt. Gen. Dennis J. Hejlik, the commanding general of Marine Corps Forces Command, speaks to Marines and sailors of the Black Sea Rotational Force 11 about the importance of their upcoming deployment to the Black Sea, Balkan and Caucasus regions during a visit to BSRF-11’s staging area at Camp Pendleton’s 33 Area, March 15. BSRF-11 is a Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force composed of mainly reservists from across the nation for a unique mission to promote regional stability, build partnerships with host nations, and advise the military training capacity of European armed forces during their six-month rotation in Eastern Europe.
