Funeral cortège of Maria Leopoldina of Austria, archduchess of Austria and Empress consort of Brazil. Maria Leopoldina was the sister of Emperor Ferdinand I of Austria and Marie Louise, Duchess of Parma, the wife of Napoleon Bonaparte. She was the mother of Emperor Dom Pedro II of Brazil and Queen Maria II of Portugal. She died in 1826, in the Imperial city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
