Lt. Gen. Lloyd J. Austin III, center, a Thomasville, Ga., native who serves as the Multi-National Corps - Iraq and XVIII Airborne Corps commanding general, and Col. John Hort, a Fayetteville, N.C., native who serves as the commander of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, listen to an operational brief on the Striker Brigade's operational environment.
