Cover, late 19th century (CH 18384881)

Square of undyed cotton cloth has a deep border of flat and raised crochet in white and brightly colored cottons. Border has rows of square compartments, some with diamond shapes of raised bumps, others with raised multi-petaled rosettes with glass beads in ceter and deep crocheted lobes. Narrow red and white floral tape insert forms an inner border.
