Gayson, a crew chief with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 366, and Soldiers of the 18th Fires Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, prepare M777 Howitzers for lift during a joint training exercise at Fort Bragg, N.C., Sept. 26, 2012. Marines and Army Soldiers trained together with Marine CH-53E Super Stallions executing a heavy lift of Army M777 howitzers and their gun crews to a remote location. After the artillery unit executed a fire mission, the Marine helicopters returned to bring them back to their starting point.
