Summary

Crash, fire and rescue Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron 471, Marine Wing Support Group 47, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing take part in training to put out fires on aircraft at the flight line at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., July 25. The training was conducted during exercise Javelin Thrust 2011. A C-130 Cargo Aircraft burn simulator was used to teach the CFR Marines the proper techniques used to subdue aircraft and fuel fires. “This simulator allows us to gain real-life experience and do our job as firefighters,” said Sgt.
