Belle Harbor, N.Y., May 21, 2013 --The New York City Parks Department, with partial funding from FEMA's Public Assistance program, is constructing a baffle wall in the Rockaways, from Beach 126th Street to Beach 149th Street, to replace the older wall damaged during Hurricane Sandy. Summary

Crews from the Choctaw Transportation, Inc. from Dyersburg, Tenn., cleared and prepared the bank along the Cumberland River in Clarksville, Tenn., and used barges equipped with backhoe tractors to place a layers of geotextile fabric and riprap with limestone rock to stabilize the eroding bank on Feb. 18, 2016. The project is part of the Riverside Drive Stream Bank Stabilization Project in Clarksville, Tenn.
