CALLAO, Peru (Jul. 05, 2007) Cryptologic Technician (Interpretive) 1st Class Andrea Moore, assigned to Destroyer Squadron 40, and other sailors of Task Group 40.0 help out local communities by distributing items from Project Handclasp such as toys, medical supplies, new sewing machines, and putting together bikes for the children. The community relations project helped to reinforce the efforts of bonding nations for the Partnership of the Americas (POA). POA supports the U.S. Navys concept of a 1,000 ship Navy, which brings together maritime services to work toward common objectives of security and interoperability.
