PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 15, 2009) Cryptologic Technician (Maintenance) 1st Class Barry J. Harmon demonstrates a self-defense baton striking technique aboard the main deck of the amphibious command ship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) after being sprayed with Oleoresin Capsicum "OC spray". Harmon and fellow shipmates aboard Blue Ridge are participating in a non-lethal weapons course to help complement the command's force protection cadre.
