CW03 Andres Navarro, Band Officer of the III Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) Band, salutes the crowd during a Japanese Self Defense Force (JSDF) Marching Festival performance at the Nippon Budokan Arena, Tokyo, JP. Nov. 21, 2018. The Budokan Marching Festival is hosted by the JSDF to demonstrate the bond between allied nations, and to showcase patriotism and cohesion through music. Navarro is a native of Caracas, Venezuela, and has been the III MEF Band Officer for three years.
