The jack supporting ring is slottedon the top edge to form a support for the outer ends of the jacks a^^,and similar grooves are provided in the upper end of the part a^ of theneedle cylinder, for the inner ends of the jack. Each jack is madewith a projection a^ to enter the annular groove in the ring a, whichis movably mounted to rotate on the jack supporting ring a^.
