David Cable, the senior logistics analyst for U.S. Army in Europe's Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G4, explains inspection goals and objectives, as he evaluates more than 90,000 line item numbers at the Joint Multinational Training Command. In support of the Army's Campaign on Property Accountability, an initiative to identify excesses and shortages, Cable plans to help units balance property books and create efficiencies, while improving mission readiness. Cable will visit all of Europe's major subordinate commands to inspect and validate their property books. Once complete, units will fill shortages with the surpluses from other units at little or no cost to the Army.
