Summary

This instrument may be a composite of 2 or more flutes based on varying wood grain patterns, and slightly dissimilar turning styles. The upper body joint bears a faint "2" and was likely the second longest corps de rechange to whichever instrument it once belonged. The key seems crude, possibly not original, it having a spring rivet (spring missing) although the foot joint has a spring attached to its track, also possibly not original.

Condition: Head joint upper section cracked and chipped at upper end. DCM ledger notes cap missing.
